It's aweful isn't it? I was sick the whole nine months with my last child! Sometimes I just wanted to cry! You will undoubtedly get alot of suggestions on this one. There is a suppository for morning sickness, that really works well, if you can stand to use it! One trick that worked for me was to set my alarm clock an hour early, get up and eat something really quick, and go back to bed. That way when I got up my stomach wasn't empty, and I would not feel so nausious. Good luck sweetie!

Hmmm, you poor thing. I had it too for a whole three months and you really feel like it's never going to go away, but it will, it will!
Go to see your doctor as they can give you tablets. I stupidly left it till I'd already been throwing up daily for a good two months before I went, then wondered why on earth I didn't go earlier.
Otherwise, you may not want to hear it but I'm not sure any of these remedies is a miracle cure. You just have to keep trying lots of different things until something works for you. Ginger cake or ginger biscuits is quite a good one, or a cup of tea with some ginger powder in it.
Also, I found not being sick was as much a matter of NOT eating certain things, like I couldn't eat any kind of cereal (which I love), without losing it all again an hour later. Bleeeeh!
Never, never, never get up until you've eaten something really bland and stodgy, like white bread. I know none of this is very good for not piling on the pounds while pregnant, but for the time being it's more important to get through the day without puking!!!
Good luck and remember, it's worth it in the end!

hey, its horrible huh!!?? I have one son and when i was pregnant with him i was sick 24/7 until i was about 4 and a half months, it was horrible. Vomiting constantly.
Nothing ever worked for me because i was so sick but it probably would if your not actually vomiting.
When you go to bed get some dry biscuits and put them besides your bed.. as soon as you wake up in the morning eat some until you feel better.. It only worked a couple of times for me and then i got way too sick.. I thought i was having a girl because thats what they say is why you get so sick but no i had a boy! so it can be with either sex.

Morning sickness can be caused by many things. Some people get it, others don't. The prevalent hypothesis in evolutionary medicine is that morning sickness is assuring that you don't eat anything that could be considered toxic to the baby.
1) Find out what is triggering your morning sickness if there is a trigger. Caffeine is a common trigger as is nicotine or alcohol or really most drugs (not surprisingly as those can do a lot of damage to the baby.)
2) Try blander foods. Sometimes it helps. Sometimes it doesn't. I ended up eating so many crackers that crackers ended up making me vomit.
3) If it is really bad, go to your doctor. There are pills they can give you that will help ease it.

I found having food and drink by bedside helped with first thing in the morning. I had nice biscuits and a drink of cordial as I favoured a little sugar first up. You may find that dry biscuits are your thing. Even barley sugar lollies help. The sugar plus taking your mind off feeling sick whilst sucking on the lollie. Also if it is unbearable there are tablets to help relieve the nausea, you just need to consult your doctor for a persription. I hope this helps. Happy and healthy pregnancy

If it's first thing in the morning try having some saltines or other bland cracker/dry bread by your bed and eat a few before you wake up. If it's all day try to eat small amounts of food throughout the day instead of big meals, and drink plenty of water. If it's severe and you want to, there are anti-nausea medicines that are safe during pregnancy, your doctor can prescribe.

I'm sorry hon, I had it bad too. You can take vitamin B-6. It works!!! That was what cured mine! I tries everything! Eating while I was still in bed! (which helps) Sucking on hard candy, smelling a lemon. (lemon flavored hard candy works too) But none of those ways cured it. Just eased it a little. They say eat saltines, but that made me sick. Oh and if your taking your prenatal vitamins during the day, take them right before you go to bed. They can make you sick too.
Try the B-6! Feel better!
