My parents, I reckon, in comparison with other people's parents of my age, were quite trendy. I'm 49 now. We had a Beatles album, Monkees album and Hermans Hermits album and some good singles too. Mind you, when I played them Led Zep 2 - one of the first albums I bought for myself - they weren't too impressed. I think what influences you most is the musical taste of your peers/friends or maybe older brothers and sisters rather than your parents - with me it was what the guys I was at (boarding) school with listened to

Yes, classical music. My dad used to watch the last night of the proms every year and I really enjoyed it. He also used to play his music very loudly in his study so I was pretty familiar with a lot of pieces at an early age.

Well, my parents were'nt home much, I was stuck with our maids.
They listened to Ballads and Classical rock!!
Those songs influenced my alot!!
The sounds that usually come out of my parents mouths were usually screaming and shouting, from hate, soo I decided to block my ears!! and pretend it was Guns N roses!!

I think they have influenced me!!
Coz the music I listen to right now, Is about avoiding suicide!!
and Hardcore rock!!

I love my parents!!!
