Iff the man is a Hindu, the second marriage in any case is illegal.
Though the person has the right to give his property or part of property to any1 be it his child or not, but it should be clearly mentioned in a WILL - and yess he would've to make a will or the children of second wife won't get anything by default...
Iff the person is a muslim - he can have 4 wives.

As per Hindu Marriage Act only the first marriage is valid and the 2nd, 3rd, ........ are keeps. If you want to legally marry convert all of you to Muslim.
I know a Krishna Reddy, a qualified engineer, who at the age of 45 married the friend of his daughter who studied with her till 10th std. Both the wives fight every day and it is a hell for their family.
Why you want to go for a second marriage by keeping the first one. Very very shame.

see Mr. Krishna.. if u want to get another woman into ur life or ur friend,if ur first wife is still alive, then u have get the permission of ur first wife and it has to be legalised. or u have to get urself divorced and then marry another woman.then the property will be shared by both side children.. as ur making ur second marriage legal they will get their property share separately in case the husband dies with writing any will. if u write a will to whom ur property should go to after ur death with a lawyer then it will happen according to the will. well these things are bit complicated. consult a lawyer to resolve ur doubt clearly..

What is the reason for the second marraige. If the fault is on ur side before going for second marriage first get divorce and then cut ur penis and the try weather anybody is interested in u. Hellow , marraige is Sacred, try to sort ur problems and live with her.

Only after divorce u can marry with another woman which will be legal(If u r Hindu).
U don't get 2nd wife evenafter converting to Muslim because according to law only genuine Muslim(by bearth) can marry with 4 gals not the one who converted.
But you can live with 2nd woman without marriage if your wife agree, it is also legal.
