I would like to see each website I have opened, separately in the taskbar (Windows XP). But if I try to open a new page, the previous one disappears, closing the previous page. How can I change this setting? Eg: if I am on a "Google" page (Google window in taskbar)and want to open "Yahoo", Yahoo opens, but Google disappears. I would like to maintain both sites in the taskbar without closing the previous application. Ideas?

Becuase he is married and no longer happy. Too bad you didn't have the following facts of life before you got married now you will have to learn the hard way: 1. There is no Santa 2. All men cheat, almost all women cheat 3. Marriage sucks (moving in is the same as marriage) 4. Everyone lies (you even lie to yourself) 5. Life is not fair Good luck and Happy Holidays. Email me if you want honest answers from a man that doesn't lie anymore.

I you navigate from one page to the next, ie enter a new web address in the address bar, your browser won't open a new window for the new website. I don't believe their is an automatic setting that allows this to happen.

But if you want to open a new window then enter your address hit the key combo Ctrl-N to open a new window.

I don't think there's a setting for this in IE, but you can press CTRL+N to open a new IE window each time and then type in the address you want to go to. You can also hold the SHIFT key while clicking a link to open that link in a new window.

Do a Ctrl-N to create an idential webpage to the one you are in now. Then type the address of the website you want to access in the address field. - You can also click on the internet explorer icon and it will open a new webpage for you.

Download Mozilla Firefox for Windows so you can have just one browser window open with a "tab" for each new web site you open inside it.

You have to open the internet explorer in new window format i.e. click the explorer icon by minimising first one.

In IE: File > New Window > type new address

Or use tabs in Firefox! It is much more comfortable!
