oatmeal soap is good i don't know why but i have the same and it was a friend of mine that said to try it you can get it from the body shop boots etc and ifs fab
i also use baby oil when i have a shower, don't dry your legs when you have finished the bath/shower just put lots on and let in soak in for a min or 2 then massage it in you should feel a change in a day or 2 even rub some on thru the day .. just a little enough to cover your skin and not mark your cloths
good luck i know this is a pain

My girlfriend has it. She uses.......**** loads of different things to try keep it under control.
These are things you can get over the counter,
These are some creams
Emulsifying Ointment BP
Aqueous Cream (She said this one is pretty good)
This stuff you put in the bath
Oilatum
and for itchiness try anti alergery tablets
She also uses steroid cream, but thats really bad for you so I would try stay away from it.

'Dermatitis' covers a wide range of problems, each with it's own cure. Many GP's don't properly diagnose.
Best bet is to try all the cures listed by everyone until you find one that works. If it's fungal try NIZORAL, it's a dandruff shampoo that cured a ten year old grot rot instantly.
Start googling your problem and narrow down the type you have and the best cures.

you'll probably find it is a reaction to something either in your home environment or in your diet. Try going to holland and barratts if you have one near you and getting hold of an allergy testing kit, or you could try your GP for one? I had a similar problem until i switched to a cleaner diet.

Try banana skins. Mash them to a pulp in a food mixer. Worth a try, hope it works for you. Just ignore the stupid b******* at the start, mocking is catching.

Try Eumobase. It's for extremely dry skin conditions, I use it for my psoriasis and it's worked wonders. Can be bought over the counter!
