Since there are fewer formula one drivers than players on an American football team, I'd say you have a better chance of picking up chopsticks with your butt-cheeks than becoming an F1 driver. Most of the drivers started out in go-karts as kids.
It not like NASCAR which developed from moonshiners outrunning cops and each other.

To start in formula one you should really go through go karting first then hopefully one day you will be spotted by someone and you will build yourself up to f1.

best to start with go-cart racing and work your way up from there,You will get the best feel for the road /handling and competitive racing this way
