Are we still on a hosepipe ban in the UK....
If we are, when will it stop.....will the goverment tell us....???

In the south we still have a hosepipe ban and although we have had loads of rain the water board says that it will continue to ban hosepipes for the near future, they also say that if we have a wet winter the ban may continue till next year but they doubt it...but this is an excellent time to buy hosepipes and accessories as the are dirt cheap..when the ban is lifted the local news will let us know or even the water boards internet site will have news of it

No there is no hosepipe ban in the UK. There is / was one in the south and south east of England (so living in the north west of England I neither know or care), and it has nothing to do with the government so they cannot / should to be held liable.

hosepipe bans are introduced by the local water companies - so if you are in doubt contact your local water company (either by phine of website_

Not all parts of the South! My water board have no hosepipe ban and have not all year. Some areas have drought orders.

i NEVER UNDERSTAND WHY YOU ALWAYS HAVE HOSEPIPE BANS, I LIVE ON AN ISLE, WITH NO LAKES RIVERS ETC, 90% OF THE TIME ITS BLAZING HOT, AND WE NEVER HAVE HOSEPIPE BANS!!!!!!!

Only in the south.. They reckon it need all winter rain to get the level up again
