I am joining a yoga class next month and i would like to wear a leotard, as they look very comfortable and won't inhibit my movements.

I have worn a long sleeve leotard and leggings, and I felt great! I wore a t-shirt over my leotard. My close held their spot. No big deal. Besides, people are not to stare at you anyways. In this day and age, wearing a leotard may be uncommon (especially if you are a guy), yet it also is NOT ILLEGAL to wear. This is for exercise people!! If the ladies can do what guys can do, the giys certainly do what ladies also do as well. There are more important thing in life worth agonizing over than worrying about if a guy is wearing a leotard or not. Until there is a law restricting a guy to wear a leotard, there is nothing wrong with it.

Why don't you ring the class leader and ask? I am sure they will know the 'fashion' of the class.
If it were me, I dont think I would wear a leotard (as a bloke) but if you are more concerned with comfort than image, then the choice is obvious.

Please God have mercy on us ladies - let no man ever be seen in any kind of leotard be it long sleeved or sleeveless (Only for ballet dancers).
