I have seen them on sale in packs of thirty for just £8.59 in ASDA i beleive in the freeze dried animal aisle. they are freeze dried though so you need to very carefully add water to them. I found it was best to use a large steam iron and steam the life into them. If you add the water too fast they expand rapidly and it causes the wings to pop off. but realy not bad value for money.

You can buy packets of them from mail order places advertised in comic books. I bought some once, got about 30 seeds but only six grew to proper 'evil bidding' size. Actually, they tried to eat my face and then flew off with my guinea pigs, so you might be best avoiding those ones.
