Oh sweetie, now that is just the most wonderfully amazing question ever!!! OMG.....you are so brilliant. Please please let me take this time to just say that of ALL of the people on this site YOU have THE most amazing answers and the most depth and the most focused charisma and I just think we are all so much better for having been touched bye the grace of a man such as you.
(You mean like that? Yeah.....that would sorta suck. *wink* But in all honesty........yes, false friendship is the worst. You are always wondering exactly what it is that they need in order to say things which you can clearly see through. With rudeness.......you definitely know where you stand, even thought it might sting a little. But false overtures? They are by far the worst!)
P.S. Ok so my little fake compliment wasn't TOTALLY B.S. (just so ya know) lol

I have an intense dislike of false people and people who don't just say what they mean.
Rudeness can be constructive sometimes, and if it's the right person, it can even be endearing.
Rudeness is not something done with malice or spite, it is just someone who speaks out in a very blunt manner. I don't see the problem with that.
-I'm not rude, but I NEVER pretend to be polite!! There is a "somewhere inbetween"!!

I think I prefer rudeness so long as it isn't mean. I think you can be bluntly honest without intentionally trying to hurt someones feelings. For instance a friend gets a haircut that is awful. I would much rather be a real friend and tell them it looks like crap. I wouldn't say this to hurt their feelings just to let them know it does not look good so they don't do it again. However I could be polite and say " Yeah it looks great" and they would go around thinking they looked good.

False politeness is like telling someone they look good wearing drag..to me if I prefer being honest with my words and expressions so if rudeness will apply to that then rudeness it is.

Rudeness, my grandma has a way of being a b***h without sounding like one at all. Pretend polite is often more rude and less tolerated than true rudeness.

I am not even sure what false politeness is kind sir.
I prefer rudeness - you know where you stand with a bit of smut, this is why all American's absolutely adore Benny Hill

Neither. I believe in treating people with human respect even if I don't like them. I do think everyone should say what's on their mind but there is also a tactful way of saying it. I would never pretend to be someones friend if I didn't like them, but would not go out of my way to be cruel.Everyone should use common courtesy.

Neither, to be honest. They both are so unnecessary . How much better our lives would be if we could just treat one another with patience, respect and a little compassion along the way.

Depends who's on the receiving end. Neither are "preferable" .... unless delivered with devastating wit.
