In the traditional societies of Native Americans women were treated with great respect and dignity. That remains true in some indigenous cultures around the world. The denegration of women by any cutlure is a very clear historic sign of decline and eventual collapse. That's worth thing about in a world where so many women are victimized and abused.

In America women are pretty much equal to men in social stature and I think you will see it moreso in the future. A lot of hispanic cultures are matriarchal. My grandma raised 6 children on her own in a day and time that it was not as common. I have nothing but respect for that. My mother works a job, that only 30 years ago, would have been considered a mans job. During World War 2, it was mostly women, in america, building tanks, planes and bombs!!!
