A female friend of mines calls me her teddy bear. She says out of all her guy friends I'm the softest. Would you see it as a good thing or a bad thing?

Teddy bears are good. She either means you are warm and snuggly and comfortable, or you are sweet and charming and handsome. I'm guessing the first option.

Girls love teddy bears, it means that she is comfortable with you and cares about you.
Think of it as a child, when the child has a bad day they lay in bed and hug their teddy bear, it is a bit of a security blanket.
It is definatly a good thing, as long as the context is positive.

it depends on how you interpret her words. if you think its an insult to your sex maybe you can consider it as an insult. but in my side, since im a girl, i take it as a term of endearment, saying your my teddy bear for me means that your a kind of a friend that can be run on. it doesn't mean that your softest among her guy friend, that your all ready a guy who cant fight for himself, it means that she can relate to you in every possible way...

If she called you her Grizzly Bear you may have a chance. But on a scale of things a Teddy Bear is someone safe and that is a really good thing.

(wrinklin my nose in disgust)This is a term of endearment from a ditz, at best. At worst, she's setting you up as her "waiting backstage man." you know, she can't stand to be alone, and if her current boyfriend ditches her, you're next in line. But 'teddy bear" is a harmless, safe way to refer to you( for now) and get your attention at the same time....

It could be either. You should ask to see if she meant that in a good way or if she means you are a pushover. Like for example the term Sweet is kind of the the same. Could be sweet in a good way or sweet as in easy, not hard, soft, candypants etc....

Definition: Cute and cuddly

She is fond of you and people always snuggle to their teddy bears. Maybe she sees you as a friend she is comfortable with and looks to you for comfort.

Aww, I think it's a term of endearment.

I would take that as a compliment. She probably means you are very sensitive to her feelings. It is a great quality to find in a friend.

As long as you aren't covered with fur and missing a plasic eye, I would say that it is a good thing.
