IF I had to pick one or the other, I would pick bellybutton b/c it is something that can be discrete and body piercings are not professional looking. Alot of people who have these kinds of piercings or tattoos done don't think about further down the road and they bite them later in the butt.
It is your body and I fully believe you should do with it what you want, just look at the big picture. If you plan to someday enter a job field where you are expected to look professional then keep the body art to areas that can easily be covered for none-appropriate times.
I use to work in Human Resources for more then one company and sat in on many interviews where someone was well qualified but part of the reason they never got a call back was b/c of such things. Was that right? No, I didn't agree with it, but choosing candidates wasn't my job. I just know what employers looks for and they see things like that and get an impression of you, whether it is right or not, in an interview you only get the chance to make one.

Id say belly. I got that done when I was like 14. It didnt hurt. Then I got my nose peirced like 2 weeks ago it hurt really bad and it brought instant tears to my eyes, not because i was crying it just hits a certain nerve. AND i already took mine out because it felt like there was a huge booger in my nose 24/7 :)

Neither, if mother nature wanted to put another hole in my body she would have!!!!
Nose piercings have the threat of a sneezing homicide. I don't think a navel ring would be attractive on my big 'ol gut!!!

I personally do not like nose piercings,they look cheap and tacky.I have my belly pierced and my tongue done.These two piercings never need to be on display,they are just for me.
