Yes. I don't know about in the comic books, but in the movie he flew around the earth backwards, just to save lois lane, from being crushed.

The answer is NO.
Waaaaack in the pre-cris era (the 1970's and earlier) Superman as written in the comics had time travel abilities (by going really fast, like the Flash) but that was one of the major reasons for DC writing the Crisis on Infinite Earths storyline in the first place- to get rid of silliness like that, and clean up continuity problems between numerous alternate versions of Earth where heroes lived (Like the JLA, JSA, Superboy, Shazam etc).
All that matters is that the current Superman can't do anything to affect time on his own. And whatever was written before the crisis doesn't matter- since those events never happened!!! :)
The 1977 movie doesn't count- studios do stupid things to sell tickets (like spinning the earth in reverse on it's axis without causing massive tidal waves, earthquakes, tornadoes, all of which might happen but time wouldn't be affected).

In the movie, he reversed the rotation of the earth by flying the opposite direction, to turn back time.
Physics, however, states that this is not a viable solution to time travel.
So if Superman WAS real, the answer would still be no.

Superman can turn back time according to the film. He does this by flying anti-clockwise around the world. However in order to achieve this in reality, Superman would have to fly away from the Earth and back again faster than the speed of light, in accordance with Einstein's Theory Of Relativity.
It is a solid fact that Superman is faster than a speeding bullet, but since there is no definitive proof that he can fly faster than the speed of light we must question whether or not he actually is able to travel back in time to rescue Lois Lane, and ask ourselves if Hollywood special effects were used to create the illlusion of him travelling in time?

Well he did in one of the movies (can't remember which one) by flying round the sun. (The same thing was done in one of the Start Trek movies). However this would not actually turn back time, so if we are talking the real world (with Superman in it) then no, but he can in the DC world.

Yes. In several comics and on the old TV show he did so by flying around the earth in the opposite direction of it's rotation. That caused time to turn back. He watched until the event that he wanted to change passed by. Then stopped a few minutes before said event.

As C-Man posted, Superman does not physically reverse the clock, he just time travels without the aid of a Tardis, Omni, or any other deus ex machina.

C-Man hit the nail right on the head. I suggest you, and many of these answerers, check out this page, to read why, just because something is part of "official" fiction, it doesn't mean that it should be allowed to keep that designation if it isn't well thought out.
