computer systems use temporary files as a way of storing information that they are working on. At any one time, a computer could have several files open. It is nothing to worry about as they are likely to be help open by programs that you didn't realise were running.
If you are using Windows, start in Safe Mode (F8) at startup I think and then try and remove the files. When you have done this restart as normal. You may also want to run disdeframenter from Accessories-System Tools to clean up your disk both before and after you remove the temp files.
If this still fails:
Go to start-run
Type: chkdsk
and then repeat the above process with the safe boot

depends on what version of OS u are using,...
in 98 u can directly delete the temp files,,, but xp doesnt allow u to do it,,,
the best solution is,,,,,, down load,, tune up utilities,,,
and it will solve 100s of ur minute problems,,,,,, u will get the trial version online,,,, get back to me for the key,,,, will help u arround,,,
before that,, make sure u are not sharing the temp folder or a few folder in c drive....
if the sharing option is selected then take it off,,,
this wil solve ur problem,,
thanx

some files may still be in use, don't worry about those ones and just delete the others.
It might help to arrange by date as the files in use will probably have today's date.
