Reports indicate what i suspected a long time ago that this war in Iraq is fueling our enemy.Only 1% of our nation is involved in some way or another in Iraq,and our military forces are over extended.I agree we must win in Iraq...but whats must we do different?

You'll win anyway. Nobody in the US goverment gives a sh!t about how many people die there, so they will keep on pushing young men on the front line, until your president is satisfied with the total proffit of the war! Maybe you should retreat your troops from there and then give those evil women and children some more air strikes. Continue like that for some time, and there will be no more Iraqees to fight you. Then you could regroup there and finally try to attack Russia, which is the point of all you did for the past 60 years. I just hope that finally, SOMEONE will win the overall game, so there will be no more trading with everybodys lives for the sake of oil and power!!!

Vietnam was the first "dirty war"--remember how well THAT one went for us??? The US Armed forces do a fine job at quick flash takeovers of regions and countries---but beyond that, things bog down fast. We hold honor and civility ideals in the face of a dirty war--and doing so is getting our azzes kicked and people dead!!!!

Face it: our war enemies no longer honor the art of war, where sides wore individual uniforms and just as in Vietnam--our troops walk surrounded by potential enemies and never see 'em comming till it's too late.

To win in Iraq is for the US to play the bad guy, the war monger machine. Each Iraq city is rife and aflourish with deadly "insurgent" / terrorist operatives, hiding about. The only way to get them is to first, advise city residents to flee as non-combatants. Give them a dead line, clear to say anyone left in the city AFTER that deadline WILL be viewed and handled as a deadly COMBATANT.

Then, you go in and carpet bomb EVERYTHING, leveling a city to rubble. That should daze the combatants long enough for the Marines and Army to go in and kill them.

That will resonate the message you don't play dirty war with the United States and expect to win.
