Does the "Level" which you attain in "Yahoo Answers" an indication of how intelligent you are ?

I don't think it does - its more an indication at how good you are at getting points. Some people get alot of thier points through voting for best answers, and you don't need any itellegence for that. Other people answer every question going, without putting much thought or effort in.
I'd have said a better indication of intellegence would be the percentage of best answers a user has.

No - if only it was that interesting ! You attain different levels because of this childish points system they have, which you accrue by coming on here in the first place, answering questions, voting on other peoples questions etc., etc.,

What I have found is that the higher the level - the more precious the person is who has that level. There are exceptions to this where someone on a high level is a normal human being but more often that not they are tightly-wrapped people who worship at the alter of the Community Guidelines.

You are obviously new on here - try not to be to passionate in your questions or answers - they don't call that being human with feelings on here - they call it 'ranting[ - which of course is forbidden in the sacred Community Guidelines.

You may find you enjoy chasing after points and the prestige of being on a higher level than before - there are added perks on the levels as you advance up them - personally I would prefer to receive some money or some kind of reward - which finally they are beginning to 'see the light' and introduce with these celebrity questions - the latest being from the agony aunt Denise Robertson - as they saying goes - ENJOY !

Nope not intelligence - I think just indicates how bored you are - or how cool a job you have that you're able to answer questions all day!!

Intelligence is not something that u can measure by numbers or grade it.... Intelligence is how ur brain cells are able to communicate with each other... how effective is ur hippocampus.... how good ur memory cells nurtured... ...how good is corpus collasum connecting two hemisperes.... and other billion factors.....

and yes u can ofcourse measure or garde the level of common sense because that can be relatively measure..... but common sense is not intelligence...

No, it means you've spent an awful long time in here to get that many points. Maybe that's a better pointer to intelligence or lack thereof...

Not at all, it indicates how long you have spent on Yahoo Answers in total.

Another two points answering this, does that make me more intelligent?

Seriously though, probably more a measure of addiction to 'Answers', or amount of free time.

The percentage of 'Best answers' possibly relates to clarity, common sense, intelligence and helpfulness though.

Sometimes there's a vast gap between being intelligent and using that intelligence wisely.
