It's not particular to gay people. Some people get angry at their situation and people's reaction to their lifestyle. Some people get angry because they want the wife/husband and children and feel alone when there is family friendly media pushing that lifestyle as the only acceptable lifestyle. The reality is we live in a society where there are so many individual variations in what lifestyles are lived that there is no convenient 'gay' 'straight' or 'bi' slot for people to fit into. All in all the anger can mask a whole range of other issues, the media likes to focus on the gay community, but it is part of a much larger set of issues.

This one does. But then, I like to think I have a reason to when people are paying lip service to stopping physical violence in schools while in the same breath advocating spiritual / psychological violence in their "conversion" camps. I feel I'm justified when I'm upset by the fact that I'm left out of so many written, legal rights. I'm upset when I hear people talk like marriage is the end-all be-all of gay rights; that once we have that our fight is over. It bothers me that people would rather conform to an unjust system than truly fight for rights for ALL who should have them; that every rights campaign has pictures of happy middle class white suburban lesbians, and it bothers me more that THIS complaint is about one of the biggest political parties advocating for "human rights",which will happily sells out transfolk to pass gay-protective legislature.

None of my gay friends get angry more often than my straight friends. I think it is a matter of an individuals personality not thier sexuality that makes them angry or happy :-)

Just like straights, many of us do get angry a lot and many does not. Anger is not something we claim to know better or worse than our straight counterparts.
