strawberries like sun. Mushrooms do not. Don't think they would grow well together.

Strawberries are available on line (search) at some nurseries, and in nature. You can dig up growing plants and transplant them. They are very invasive when planted in the ground - they send out runners with little "pup" plants growing at the end of the runner. Will take over a large amount of space in a short time. I could send you wild plants if you like, there are lots here.

mushrooms like a dark warm dank atmosphere while strawberries require sun and air and water . .you get the mushroom kit at any bunnings store or garden centre and the strawberries from the plant nursery .plant the strawberries on a raised bed of soil and put some straw or hay around the plants .this keeps the runners off the soils and also the strawberries , when they grow.

I live in zone 10 i have a six foot circle with a three foot circle in the center and a one and a half foot in that center. In the direct sun. Strawberry's need a lot of water so I put a sprinkler in the center and run it twice a day for a half an hour. I get the sweetest giant berrys. As for mushrooms they need a dark damp place. Good luck and happy berry
