Yeah, if they think they have been wronged somehow, the whole friggin' world has to apologize. Take the cartoon from Denmark as an example! But they are not willing to own up to their mistakes. Religion of peace! Hah! If they want to prove that, why not start with tolerance for other religions, and then how about showing a little humility, have enough faith in your religion to accept the fact that just because someone makes fun of your religion doesn't mean it's a life or death matter! What kind of loon would i be considered if i demanded an apology every time i hear Jesus made fun of?

You are basically correct...no Muslim governed nation, etc. But you have to remember that nations are, obsessively run by governments and not religions. In the middle east however, it is in practicality a theocracy throughout the region.
I lived in the middle east for 18 months and I rarely met a non-western christian. There are Arab Christians but they are few and far between. When I went to religious services I attended them on US military bases in Kuwait, Iraq and Bahrain.
However, being a Muslim country does not eliminate a country from becoming a democracy. The current form off government is the obstacle. In Kuwait their is a Crown Prince, in Saudia Arabia it is a King. It is these type of governments that fear Democratic governments gaining a foot hold in the middle east.
And a democratic Iraq is terrifying to these governments. The last thing they want is to have their citizens see the benefits of an Arab democracy.

These are the intolerant behaviour of Muslim nations that make them such easy targets for the bigots who hate difference. If the truth be told, Mullahs, Imams and the Muslim governments do not represent the 'normal' muslim.
They do a great disservice to their religion.
You know my belief and that is all religion should be scrapped except in people's own homes and we should not give them any special status.

I agree with you. We have to accept that they are different to us. It makes me laugh when they insist on calling Islam a religion of peace. I can't think of even one thing which proves that. The latest furore over the Pope's comment is a case in point. They murdered a nun in cold blood because they thought the Pope had said that their religion is not peaceful. What a way to prove him wrong!

sure, of route. because no man or woman ought to stress faith on yet another, nor carry the flexibility of existence or death over yet another human being because of their decision of religion. at the same time as one human can kill yet another because of a distinction of religion, tyranny will effect. And the streets will run pink with the blood of the slain.
