What glass???

2006-09-27 22:26:26 · answer #1 · answered by Sillira 3 · 0 0

It depends. If you have an empty glass and you put liquid into it and reach half way then its half full, if you have a full glass and you take half of the liquid out then its half empty.

It is both half full and half empty at the same time. That's life.

It is simple - if you want someone to top up your class then it is half empty. If you have had sufficient, then your glass is still half full.

If you fill the glass and then drain out half, it's half empty.

If you only fill the glass half way, then it's half full.

Personality wise, I'm a half-full kinda gal. There's always more of something right around the corner (she says, optimistically).

Is the top or bottom of the glass half full?

Either you only pour half a glass or you drank half of a full glass.

It depends on whether you are an optamist or a pesamist. I beleive the glass is half full as i like the term full rather than empty which makes me an optamist.

So many answers, however I feel a need to be practical.

It is filled, totally.

Let's say the bottom half is filled with a liquid (most would assume this) then the top half is filled with air (air having volume).

Since this is in the psychology categories I need to add . . . just like life--never all the same.
