I don't think it happens all the time. I was deeply ill with a cold and dangerously high fever. My parents thought I wouldn't make it. Then I suddenly sat up telling them both bye and how I loved them and that I hope to see them on the other side. Then I collapsed. Later my fever broke and I never remembered any of that.

Not sure about that one, some people say they have seen that in a near death situation, maybe some people are just too poorly to notice anything at all.

In my personal experience, no. Perhaps it depends on the trauma that is leading to your near death.

I have never been near death hon so I cannot say yay or nay, there have been others who have experienced it and they say Yes. Who are we to say no.

Nope - I had a heart attack last year and was on the brink but the only thing I was thinking of was my Wife/my three girls and our unborn baby.
