On the news this morning which i was watching at half past six, apparently there is a ring you can buy that has a chip in it which you can put a particular date that you want remember in it, then the day before the anniversary it starts to get hot on your finger. There you have your reminder. Hope this helps because its not good to forget is it?

I've been happily married for 18 yrs and I have forgotten our wedding anniversary every single year. My hubby hasn't forgotten but he's given up on making that day as special as other people do. I remember the date but not when it rolls around. To me, having him with me each day is special in itself.
Best is to remind yourself one month in advance to get or plan something. Then use what ever reminding device you own (cell, email, etc.). There are also web sites to remind you of birthdays and such.
Hope it works for you.

Like yourself, I'm really terrible at remembering dates. Since I got married in June, I've been wondering how to remember the date of our anniversary so my marriage lasts more than a year!
I've resolved to have it tattooed on me somewhere. That way, it'll be there no matter what happens (unless I lose a limb or something!!)
It negates the whole 'marked for life' issue of the tattoo, because even if you get divorced, you'll still be scarred for life anyway!!

When is it? If it is near any other important dates that could help eg start of the football season or christmas or something. My Dad got married on St Georges day so he would never forget. He still can't forget and hes been divorced 20 years.
Come on girls you can't have a go at him its a man thing they are just sh*t with dates! We have a duty to remind them shortly before important events. Its the way it has always been since time began!!!

It's a date that should stick in your mind just like 25th December or your own birthday. You wouldnt forget those dates would you? Write it in your diary, put an alarm on your mobile phone, write it on your calendar at work and if all fails ask your friends and family to remind you a week before so you dont forget to buy your wife a present and take her out for dinner.

Your question makes me laugh because my husband and I can never remember our anniversary!! We just don't feel it is such a big deal, but laugh about it constantly! One year it was a whole week after when we finally remembered! You could subscribe to a date reminder service! Hope this helps!

There was an article in today's Metro about that, actually.
Apparently, someone has invented a wedding band that has circuitry in it - you programme your wedding date in it, and then on your anniversary, it gets warm, burning your finger slightly once an hour.
Therefore, you cannot forget it!
