most people on the world are throwing away their $ by watching movies just to be cheated by animation-expert producers and to make their mind temporarily excited and to waste precious time, but no positive benefit for their lives at all.

If viewing any good film takes away, for a brief time, all the crap in your personal world--then it's money well spent. And evidently, people DO enjoy seeing whiz-bang cool animated films--especially during the summer and holiday seasons.

You HAVE a right to say your mind, but evidently, you are in a small minority; clearly NOT right by opinion.

It is instinctual human nature to like to be tricked. Other wise politicians, magicians, and yes 99% of Hollywood would be out of a job.

There is something inherent to story telling that we find addictive. I think it goes back to argh and thug sitting around the camp fire and escaping from the horrors of their daily lives into this fake reality. It was the first drug really.

Honestly think about it a second. You're a starving cave man trying to sleep with an empty stomach because the hunt went bad. And your buddy tells you of a dream he had where he killed an enchanted elk where the meat never ran out. Great story right?

I unfortunately I think you are incorrect to say that movies are a waste when the provide such a benefit to so many.

Nope, the fact that people continue to pay increasing box office prices sets the value of the ticket. The animation technology you poopoo has revolutionized cinima and some of the greatest films have been created in the the digital age.

No. A good movie, like any form of art, lifts us out of ourselves and shows us another life, another perspective. It can inspire us, move us, make us laugh or cry. That's what life is about. To feel, to think, to enjoy. That's not a waste! Of course life is also to be lived. We should also go out & live our own movie!

No, you are wrong.

Good movies are a viewed for the fun of watching a 'good movie'.

Now, some movies are a waste of time - but then again 'one man's food is another man's poison'

if we had no entertainment in our lives to "waste our time," where would we be? if we had to work all the time? life wouldnt be worth living.

personally, id rather go watch a good movie than play a video game. its just my opinion.

maybe.

but if you find something to be entertaining, can't you just be entertained by it?

also, it's a great place to take a date, and if dating is a waste of time..... then i don't even know what to say.
