When they start feeling old. It's different for everyone. For some it may be 40. Others may not feel old even at 80. You don't have to sit in a rocking chair if you don't want to. You choose how active you are and it affects how you feel & how you look.

I won't say how old I am (a woman never tells -- tee hee) but I always get mistaken for 10-15 years younger. Other people my age can look 10-20 years older. It's how you live your life.

Anyway, remember you're only young once but you can be immature your whole life! Stay young, have fun! Never lose your childlike sense of wonder!

Old? That really depends on the person. My grandmother is 73 and has NO problems. She's out EVERYday shopping, going to church, anything you can think of. I've worked with a 105 year old lady who was physically old,but her mind set was perfect. She knew everything, she wouldn't leave her house without her make up,perfume or her hair done, and boy was she cocky, she was born in the 1800's and had LOTS of great stories to tell. Peoples minds and body's get old at different times. There's not really a right answer to that question dear.

Well I know that girls body's start going downhill at 20.. Like their hearin gets worse and stuff like that. But I don't know about guys. They say that guys don't live as long as woman and they say it's a proven fact {there's your few that out live woman} but the reason they don't outlive woman most the time is because they don't cry as much as woman do and your body needs to cry it's a healin process and it takes some stress away and the more stress you have the sooner you will get old.

Totally subjective question. I'm coming up on 66 and don't feel old. Who's got time to get old? Honestly, as long as your body holds up, I think getting old is purely a state of mind.

whenever i hear of someone dying under the age of 80, i think "that was way too young to die." of course, there's rarely a "good" time to die but i tend to think of old as being 80+.

but as for individual people, there are probably octogenarians out there that i'd think of as young, and teenagers that i'd call geriatric. i think it all depends on having a positive outlook on life, having an active lifestyle and proper health, and keeping up with the times.

The process of living is synonymous with the process of aging - i.e no sooner the person starts breathing and oxidizing.

Maybe it's when you stop feeling young at heart. Or when you stop appreciating the daily wonders that happen around you.

Think young, feel young

I think that`s when cells don`t regenerate as they used to.

or when the cells are destroyed by free radicals and they don`t reproduce anymore.
