Once we got Levi's we didn't need hair anymore so we mostly went bald on our bodies. Keeping the hair on our heads because we didn't want all the hairdressers to have to re-train.
Also some peoples skin changed colour because there wasn't enough conflict in the world, and god wanted to stir things up a bit.

The tribe in Africa splitted and after some time, these tribes spread out to places such as asia europe middle east etc. With the new enivironment these, homosapiens began to evolve accordingly to the weather and temperature. And thats why we have diverse human colors.

when the humans were first born, they were all the same. then when we migrated over to the other continents, we adapted gradually to the climate and the environment. there is much less sun in Europe, and therefore it was no longer necessary to have so much melanin in the skin to protect the skin from UV light. hence all the other human races adapted to the different environments that we migrated to.

like, natural selection dude

People from around the equator have darker skins as the evolved that way - to protect them from the sun - so people from near the poles are very pale - as they havn't got as much sun.

The people of the russian steppes and many parts of northern cChina developed eyes with bigger fat deposits in the eye lids - to protect their eyes from the cold and winds.

People have migrated all over the world from start to finish - infact there is now evidence that people were exploring the world before the last ice age (maps have been found that map out the continents before they had ice on which has only just been confirmed with the use of modern equipment - who those people were is another matter)

For very many years certain types of people stayed in the same area's of the world and this is how we got racial groups, as the world moves on and its people with it I think we will loose the distinct ethnic looks.

Its one old great big melting pot!

It has to do with geographical variation in climate and other environmental features. Humans have slowly adapted (both physically and culturally) to the new environments they've inhabited. Evidence in support of this theory - if you look at people who live far away from each other, but live in similar environments, they often have similar physical characteristics.
