Our sexualities are compatible. He is a straight male and I am a straight female. We both know the other is interested and have been circling around each other for years due to each of us being in other relationships. I need some VERY specific ideas here because he is worth doing this thoroughly.
I've tried initiating things by being bold but he has so far resisted my advance (barely). While playing hard to get is fun in ramping up the passions I want to put this on my time schedule and get busy. I've also tried bringing it up specificly and what I always get are compliments and "if onlys" and a look on his face that tells me I am not pushing the right buttons. Sorry I've asked before, but I only got one response.

I don't think anyone, anytime turn someone into something. It doesn't sound right. If you are meant to be together don't bother finding how, you'll be together. But i think that by trying to do things to make him your lover, it will not be natural and he might end up with you without wanting it. (I am only giving possibilities).
Secondly if you let him loose a little bit, maybe he will be more excited about having you as a lover. I don't know if you are getting my message. When you do a lot of things to try to attract someone he will ignore you, but if you ignore him he'll try to get your attention.
Anyway i don't think one should ever find his lover. Love must be from BOTH sides and if this is so, u need not worry. If this is not so then, let it be, Love comes again and when it comes alone i believe it comes right!

I believe trying the reverse will be effective. Make sure you look great when you're around or with him and show interest in other men. Totally act as if you have dropped all romantic interest in him and let them wind there way into your conversation. Create "someone sort of special". Don't be too bold with it but use it and see if there are any jealous signs.
Maybe if he sense that he may be loosing you altogether he may wake up and commit.

Maybe because you are only friends from long time he's afraid to loose our friendship for another one that can turn bad as happened for both of you , since both are straight why to not have a straight talk and decide together what to do about your feelings ?

Since you have known each other for quite some time, why not just ask him if he would like to have sex? Get it out in the open. The worst that can happen is that he says no but at least you know how he feels about it.
