Do u think the ship was realistic, the sinking was realistic. It was all expertise of the director who grasped ur mind to accept the events as they were shown. The lady was plus 100, i have many ladies around in our family and social groups we easily estimate the age of old citizens. Ur observation can not be accepted, those who see that movie accept in their mind that she was a lady of an age 100++. There are some more points u can choose to criticize but not this one, please the movie one more times as if u are not seeking entertainment but raising objections for sake of objection.

Yeah she would be 101 if she was 17 in 1912 but remember this is not a realistic film. Well, at least part of it isn't.

No movie is ever realistic. Even the ones based on true stories arent. That is the magic of movies.

Even tho she looked to be in her seventies, I do believe the movie mentioned that she was quite a bit older. Remember, she died within a day of them recovering stuff from the ship.

The lady in the movie, they even said that she was 100 and something! Not everyone looks, or even acts their age!

bill paxton and the old woman should have been more romantic i thought -- the dumbest mistake in the movie to me was the art collector that had art that is still around -- picasso's les demoiselles davignon was one
