Yes, anything that would allow people to connect with their inner child or inner Cinderella, etc. In New Orleans, Mardi Gras serves the same function for a lot of the participants..

I think there should be trick or treating for adults and like the idea of the shot glass treats! Honestly, in many places trick or treating has become so regulated its sick. In Des Moines, IA you can't even trick or treat on Haloween. They assign a different night! Plus, lots of towns put on hours and age restrictions. Maybe the kids could go after school until a little after dinner time and then the persons aged 21 and older could head out about 10pm and just live up the rest of the night in giant block parties involving costumes, prizes, tricks (hehehe), etc.

I've been here in the US only eleven years now,...but from what I've observed trick or treating is for anyone who has fun doing it. I certainly would not shoo you.... in fact I can count on my fingers the number of kids that come and want a treat where we live. Check out my boys...lol.... their Dad doesn't want them to go trick or treating on Halloween, because it's considered an evil worshipping day.... so what I do is ...I think of something the night before Halloween....and then I have them both wear the same costume....the first year they were Mexicans....I used a blanket- the pic has been on my Yahoo!360 profile for quite some time now.... and last year they were both cowboys...nothing evil.... I wonder how much longer they accept my idea of a Halloween costume...lol....

Eh,that's being selfish. You're grown. You don't need to be trick or treating anymore. Kids don't want to go trick or treating and see Adults doing the same thing. It just wouldn't be the same. 20 year olds should be at Halloween Parties or Clubs that Celebrate Halloween. My opinion, and when you ask questions on here you get all different types, some you probably don't like the answers too,but yes, you're 20,not 9 or 10,leave it for the children. I'm sure you would be the cool one at work when you go in the next morning and tell everyone how cool it was because you went trick or treating, and your co-workers say "Oh,well I took my Children, can't say I got any candy myself"..Heh..

There shouldn't be an age limit. I would still trick or treat if given the chance to.
And, you gave me the idea of a sign. I think I'll put one out this year stating that adults in costumes are invited also!

Not really but I think a halloween party would be more appropriate for adults and perhaps before they leave they can take a halloween themed candy from a basket.

I still go trick-or-treating and I am 50! I love it. I wear a costume to work that day and have fun all day and then that night I go trick-or-treating. Have fun - 20 is young - go for it!

haha, obviously because as adults we should just buy our own candy instead of asking for handouts - but i agree! i love trick-or-treating and i'm a kid at heart ... in fact, last time i went, i was 23, lol! i can still pass for a teenie-bopper ~_^

Yea, we should have trick or treat but our treats would have to be more than just candy. Oh the tricks, well use your imagination.
