Well, it is true, each network has their loyalties to each party. The majority of the networks tend to favor Democrats. The most hated and most watched network is Fox News, it heavily favors the Republicans. However, I have noticed that a few of the networks try to have diversity in their broadcasts, Republicans and Democrats. I think Bill Clinton's attack on Chris Wallace was ridiculous. I know Larry King wouldn't have the balls and neither would Barbara Walters, to ask the question that IS ON everybody's mind. He was very mean to Chris (who is Mike Wallace's son, did you know that?). ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN - Democrat. Fox News-Republican.

Many people say Fox news network supports the conservative republican viewpoint. Others will say Fox doesn't pretend to be something it is not and calls conservatives conservatives and liberals liberals - therby not introducing bias.
Most other networks show a liberal democratic bent. They do this through things like introducing a guest from an extremely liberal group by name and a guest from a conservative group as "Conservative.....then their name" They often state the liberal view as "middle of the road" and the conservative view as far right.
The conservative viewpoint is pretty much relegated to Talk Radio. Listen to a conservative news radio outlet, then watch any major news network and you will see the difference.

Americans are desperate for the truth, even though all the networks, even PBS, now self-censor.

People want to find the best source of info. Unfortunately, we confuse our need to know with our desire to be entertained.

Networks are after the money. Clearly, Fox is for Republicans. Whether that means more for the neocons, I'm not sure yet.

PBS used to be Liberal, but the Conservatives in Congress scared them with threatening to cut their funding. So they're kowtowing to the conservatives too, to some extent.

I know Americans who are watching Al-Jazeera ,Univision, and BBC, just to get a different perspective. We're acting like Russians used to act, searching desperately for truth and real meaning.

Today, we get news from across the planet minutes after the story breaks; 30 years ago, it'd take hours and sometimes days. And with that stunning digital clarity, sadly, comes the apparent bias in broadcast journalism that today is not so easy to hide from us.

It's clearly evident CBS, for example is anti-Bush and they harbored an even deeper political resentment towards Clinton. NBC, by contrast, is ultra-Republican and ABC is purely Democrat.

How ironic years ago to see The New York Post crucify a writer for story fabrication, and TIME also got tainted in a similar scandal.....yet television journalism brazenly interjects personal bias in their news stories---and they get clean away with it.

Why is simple: money begets power---and power allows what you see or DON'T see on TV news.

It's hard, really hard today to find a TV news service that is totally unbias. And isn't it something for us to see in American journalism, where we fiercely fought against propaganda????

i really envisioned that, when they could tire of attaking the left, the far authentic may turn upon one yet another. per chance none will live on. and that i changed into authentic. republican extremists merely choose someone to gnaw on. photo, in case you'll, the cro-magnon contained in the perfect days of his pitiful existence.

I prefer to get my U.S. news from the BBC. The BBC broadcasts things that we don't hear about here in the states.
