The bulk of U.S. based players tend to be ex-pats from cricket playing nations, particulary the West Indies and Asia.

The U.S. Cricket Association is long established and is part of the ICC, although inevitably in the U.S. the sport is 100% an amateur participation sport only, with liitle spectator interest other than curiousity.

I remember that some people said that " cricket is game played by 11 fools and watched by 11000 fools" somethiong like this
BUT ICC is hoping to make USA a branch and a member of it . Also China is under consideration.
