Before the dinosaurs God was a bit bored with himself so he made the dinosaurs. They were a bit boring though just running around and eating each other. So He decided to kill them all. Then He thought to himself wouldn't it be fun to make humans and see how they get along with themselves and the animals. Question is how long till He gets bored of us and sends the big ball of fire to destroy us all?

Two things -
1. The bible story about how the world was made, was a story, written a long time ago by a man who wanted to explain his world in ways that he could understand. It is open to some interpretation.
2. Have you ever wondered why, if Adam and Eve were alone on the Earth that when they had two sons and their sons grew up, and came home with wives, where the wives came from? I mean it would stand to reason that the wives must have been born somewhere and grown up somewhere, and had parents, perhaps Adam and Eve just had a bit of the world, and we should take the story with a pinch of salt?

The Bible was written in simple terms & parable form so that the people of the time could understand it. A "day" might have been a million years. Who knows? As time goes on, we make more & more discoveries about the past. We have access to technology that primitive people would not have had. When the Bible was written they wouldn't have known or understood about dinosaurs. Just as they didn't know how planets were aligned. Remember they thought the sun rotated around the earth until Galileo? They thought the earth was flat until Columbus. If you try to describe complex ideas to simple people, you'll only frighten & alienate them. The point of the Bible was to make it accessible to people so they would want to read & know the word of God. It doesn't mean that the Bible isn't true. Just that it isn't precise, or meant to be taken literally. Most of the old testament is a bit far-fetched, isn't it? It is possible to believe in science & religion. Neither one can explain everything on its own.

A true creationist (or Douglas Adams) would claim that God created the dinosaur bones in the earth, possibly as a way to test the faith of people.
Remember, creationists have no obligation to follow scientific method or behave logically or rationally!

God's time is not limited to man's interpretation.
AS the Bible also says that one day is like a 1000 years to God or a 1000 years is like one day.
God does not say "all was created in 6 days"
Man says that. We can't comprehend how God does things.
His ways and thoughts aren't ours.
To me Science and archaeology tend to support the Bible even more.
When you read of the great beast in JOB even that sounds like a description of a dinosaur.
Ezekeil sure describes some funny kind of "transportation" also
We don;t and can't interpret the BIBLE as being total literal.
Thank God it's called Faith- Believe in that which is "UNSEEN"
also includes that which we don't understand.
Apostle Paul saw life was like looking in a dimly lit mirror.
He saw " I know little now but one day I will know all"
for he knew that absent from the body is present with the Lord and all things will be made clear "at Death"
an unknown " tombstone read " I now know more than all of you"

Not that I'm religious and I don't belive in religion but the term 6 days (not 7 as the 7th was a day of rest) isn't meant as 24hrs, more like a period of time.
For example when people say in my Granparents day, meaning the span of their life.
As for the dinosaurs there's no mention of it but one could presume these creatures were created before god created Adam. I'm sure religion will find a loophole in anything scientific.

When God made the earth He put the dinosaurs on the earth at the same time as everything else. When the Ark was built to survive the great flood, it was not large enough to accommodate the dinosaur es so they drowned in the flood waters. And that is why they are extinct today. That is if you believe in the Bible and what it ahs to say.

Days were a little longer then. Actually it only took 6 days...on the seventh day he rested.
The guy that wrote Geneses hadn't heard about the dinosaurs so I'm guessin' he left that part out.
I asked the reverend at the local church about that and he told me it was a theological mystery.
There are a few minor discrepancies between the bible and the theory of evolution. This might be one of 'em.
There's a few more in Acts, Leviticus and Ecclesiastes too but I'm working on them.

not a clue ? Why don't you ask Him!!!!Lots of answers could be given eg seven days are not 7 lots of 24 hours but 7 metaphorical days and a day is just a measure of time. Until God made the sun and moon the length of a day could not be measured .And who is to say what was milling around on the planet whilst it was formless and void ?? Do we really need to know ? best bet is ask Him when you get there - if your'e going !?
