Hell .. I think we are still trying to figure out of it works here in the US.

I think most people would benefit from it, although not all would want or prosper under the exact same form of democracy.
We should remember there are many ways to practice democracy, ranging from our republican form to pure democracies and constitutional monarchies with a parliamentary system.
I think some people prefer to let other people run their lives, and they probably wouldn't care one way or the other.

I seriously wonder if democracy really exist in present scenario it has become onl a word in books and rarely does it have an impact in the world

Not necessarily... pure democracy can turn into the tyranny of the masses if not established correctly... look at the French Revolution as an extreme example...

in the light of these options like monarch & dictatorship... Democracy is a winner...

I would have said yes until recently. I think Bush's catastrophic 'war on terror' will serve as an example to future generations in western countries as to what is and what isn't achievable in the world. Therefore, I say no at this time.

if a country is not having democracy and had a very cruel king which hang anybody anytime , somepeole which has not done any thing he give them punishments or hang them . will u like that type of king or a minister which u have choosen of ur choice think and mail me
