I have to lie to myself everyday just to convince myself to get out of bed.

Differs from day to day depending on how many times I get into a jam. But isn't that better than lies for monetary gains and those directed towards harming others ? I am told self-defence is a noble objective !

Every time our logical mind refuses to accept what we perceive and seems to be true, we lie , at least to ourselves. And this is the ONLY type of lies that really matters existentially !
Developing the ability to shut the mind consciously, a person lives truly in the moment, and is with truth !

Zero. The only time I might tell a white lie, occasionally, is when someone asks me if I like their hair, outfit or if they look fat in which case I choose to be kind rather than honest.

Well depends on the situation. The more you talk the more you lie, the less you talk the less you lie. That's not a bad idea, i shall count my number of lies in a day and see how a big liar i am.. ;P

I'm not deceitful. I'm right up front with my contacts and they respect me for it. It pays of in the end. I hate a phony, sneak and a liar. Once someone sneaks and lies to me they are no longer comfortable around me, I can be very intimidating with that type of person. I don't invite phonies into my life either.

I dont lie. But also dont speak the truth all the time.
I use tactful language and will tell halftruth with hints

Most of us lie in for different reasons. I think lying is not bad in itself unless you lie to cheat somebody or to rob him or to hide the truth.

it is depends on the situation.me , probably about 3 or 4 times per day.but honestly, i hates liar.
