Speefmoney4, so you would have a child brought into this world and have unfit parents just to teach them a lesson?

Pro-choice..Because it is exactly what it implies. That there should be a right to choose. I do not excuse women with poor morals who will open their legs for any reason and then use abortion as a birth control method, nor do I excuse men who do not practice responsible sex. No one gets pregnant on their own. Adoption is not always the answer, nor is kids raising kids. I think our welfare system has proved that quite nicely. Unfortuantely people who would make poor parental material still have sex...It's funny how nobody wants to kill "babies" but they are content to let them be brought into a life full of misery...That is a wholesome ideal...The fact is there are too many conflicting studies as to when life begins to say that anyone has the monopoly on the "rightness" of things, but it should be common sense what is life and what is not, or perhaps we should consider capital punishment and "the right to die" (Terry Schiavo) more closely. It is all too easy for people to pass judgment on others without having facts, using only their bias, and self-righteousness to guide them, and this is really too bad because it separates us from each other and makes us a world full of either apathy or hatred. Those are extremes, and nothing was ever solved by extreme-ism. Until you know what it is like to be in a situation you have no right to decide how it should be handled.

Pro-choice. Why? Because I believe that the womans right to bodily autonomy is much more valuable than a potential persons right to life. Because I've experienced the hell of a very much unwanted pregnancy and abortion. I know exactly what lengths women would go if abortions were made illegal. I simply do not hate women and children and I do not think that babies should be a punishment for sex. I believe abortion itself is a consequence and often times the responsible and loving choice. There are so many unwanted, uncared for, unafforded, hungry, neglected, sick and abused people on this planet that there is no need to create one more. We as a whole cannot take care of the people and animals who are alive now, there is no need to create more pain and more suffering for yet another unwanted person.

I'm pro-choice. I think there are too many situations involved with pregnancy for there to be a cut and dried no abortion rule.

For example, 13 year old gets raped and become's pregnant, homeless woman is pregnant and unable to care for the baby, happily married couple get pregnant, wife has an affaire and falls pregnant, 17 year old becomes pregnant to her 17 year old boyfriend on the cusp of college...etc.

I think I can honestly say that there are selfish reasons not to go ahead with a pregancy sure. But at the end of the day if I fall pregnant, I want to know that I can make a decision on how things are going to turn out. Guys can say that's harsh, but they're not the ones who's lives are going to go through a complete upheaval...unless they CHOOSE to...unless they choose to be involved. If they CHOOSE not be involved then it's up to the woman. And if there's no choice left, what happens then? The guy who got the woman pregant gets to toddle off somewhere and the woman has to deal with consequences for the rest of her life.

Just my opinon... :)

pro choice all the way.
I support having children
I support adoption
I support the woman's right decide to have a child
I believe that no one is qualified to judge the life of another
abortion is not the right choice for everyone and i believe it's a very private, fragile design to make.
It is not against the law
although some people claim it is murder people have different views of when life truly starts.
i believe it should not become a birth control method or a get out of jail free card for woman
i believe it should not be performed after the first trimester
It is our right as woman to decide what is right for our bodies and our fetus.

I'm definitely pro-choice. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that we should be able to terminate any person's life. Let's bring the life-and-death decisions back to the community level!

Its not that easy...IMO, I mean someone impregnated by being raped then she should have the choice. 2 young kids who are just irresponsible and neglegent should not get the choice, they should have to deal with the consequences rather than just run away from the problem.
