when I accidently found a gift from ''santa'' in my mothers closet when I was looking for a pair of her high heels to play dress up.
She wasnt very original for hiding gifts!

( then that Christmas I heard them putting out the gifts and found out for sure- I was so disappointed and cheated)

Now having a 6 year old daughter, I feel so guilty lying to her I know eventually shes going to find out and feel the same way.

we did not celebrate Christmas as children as our religion teaches that it is not actually a christian celebration at all, but has pagan origins. I always knew that Santa was made up. I no longer practise that religion, but my views on Christmas are very relaxed, for me it has nothing to do with religion, it's just a time for family to get together, watch films and eat loads of chocolate

in an intervention led by the easter bunny, the tooth fairy, the boogieman, a leprechaun, a unicorn, and the smurfs
...but seriously, it was when i discovered wrapping paper under my parents bed that matched the one on the gifts left by santa. i was around 7-8 yrs old and kept my mouth shut for a few more years for my younger brother's sake.

I in no way believed in him. One time whilst i became little a woman inquire from me 'are you waiting for Santa to return?' I reported "no. he's not genuine, I observed Santa with a illuminate his butt on someones porch' for sure I observed a plastic one.
