I'm living overseas and are currently looking for jobs in UK. In some of the job ads, the salary is include LWA. What does it stand for ?

London weighting allowance. Extra Pay basically to help cover the cost of living/working in London, although it may not go all the way, especially with the high cost of housing down there

i believe that LWA is London Weighting Allowance (I may be totally wrong)
It means an extra allowance for living/working in London

It is London Weighting Allowance, so provided (by some) because of the astronomically high cost of food, shelter and housing in the capital, the most expensive city in the world in which to live.

Local Working Allowance - the amount of extra money they give you for working outside of your home country (i.e. accomodation etc.)
