I just don't get it. My husband still won't let me in the bathroom when he's sitting on the toilet doing his business. He locks me out and makes me wait until he's done. We've been together for a long time and I am completely comfortable doing EVERYTHING I do in the bathroom in front of him. I have no qualms about using the toilet while he's shaving or taking a shower. It's not like there's anything to hide. I've seen all there is to see and I've smelled his poop before. Why does he need privacy when it comes to doing number two?

It's a private moment. Maybe it's not a man thing, but it's his thing.

Why don't you let him have his excretion alone?

I don't go in the bathroom when my wife is doing her "number two." Well. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

By the way, how'd you get the cool fonts? I like the reverse R.

Yeah, my husband says bathroom time is alone time and the nly place he gets any privacy. We have the same discussion all the time. He gets really mad at me for going anywhere near the bathroom if he's in there doing #2, even if I really need something out of there.

In my marriage it's the reverse. I don't like it when my husband is in the bathroom while I do my business. It doesn't matter if u have seen everything. He just wants his privacy. It's just as simple as that so just let him be.

Here's the only reason why I lock the door.
years later you will soon understand that the restroom is the ONLY privacy you'll ever have in life

Some people will never be comfortable doing that kind of thing in front of anyone else. Don't take it to heart.

Some people just feel less comfortable about their calls of nature than you apparently are.....I wouldn't make this into a big thing if I were you.

you should ask him

we are often given bad advice as children about what is embarrasing etc. - he may need reassurance, but you won't know unless you ask

it is vital to relax when "doing number two" as you can get all sorts of problems like piles if you hurry, so good to give people space ... and time ...
