Ok this is very difficult to explain but do you ever find that when travelling long distances in the car you entertain yourself by imagining an invisible thread weaving in anf out of the reflector poles or trees by the side of the road? And that sometimes you do it without even thinking so you are always doing it? Am I the only person in the world that does this?

I do something very similar. My invisible thing is a blade cutting down trees along the road.

I have a similar but different method. I count everything and I have to stop on an even number. I do this a lot while I am driving. No accidents yet so I guess I am doing OK.

I go thru the alphabet looking for words that start with each letter in order...
A Avenue
B Box
C California
D look around for a donut store.....lol
E Exit....
J Jack in the box where are you??
Q Search for a quality something or other or Dairy Queen....
X Hope for a Xerox place lol

I look at the shapes of trees on the sides of the road and picture animal shapes.
Do what you can to stay awake.

hi there most people wont admit sum of the crazies they do, but u doing what u said, just proves you have a creative mind. ( but dont get so caught up that ur weave-n quilts that could cause a wreck lol good luck

I always do that! and i sometimes imagine cartoon charactors in a car beside me and riding on electricity poles when im REaLLY REALLY bored but i don't usually do that. i thought I WAS the only person in the entire world who does that!!!!

I think you explained it very well. We all have our ways of amusing ourselves during long boring drives, but I must confess that I've never tried that one. Sounds pretty good. I think I'll try it next time.

Oh my gosh, I seriously do the exact same thing. I have done it since I was little and still do. I always thought I was the only person who did it.

Quite possibly. But then again, I think we all do some daydreaming type tripping when we are bored. As long as it doesn't interfere with your driving, I wouldn't worry about it.
