Check out the book, "Marketing Without Money" by Nicholas E Bade, which I found at my local library. The book features 300 ways to advertise your business without investing a ton of money. You will find some creative ways to get your business name out there. Think outside the box and people will be more apt to remember you and your outstanding service.

Get your company's logo and message just as close to the real estate market as you can !!!
If there are advertising specialty publications in your area that do homes for sale ads---that is where you need to capitalize your outlay of ad dollars---
People who are "in the market" in this area of business --are not only folks buying homes--who--after purchasing -- may have plumbing work to be done (tweaking and remodeling etc) -- the people who are selling their homes also have tweaking and refurbishing to do before they get the price they are looking for -- and they are usually looking at other people's ads BEFORE they advertise their own place (to get an idea of what the market is doing--what prices are being asked and etc)---and so--this is a place where there is ALOT of money floating around and the need for a lot of the kind of things that you do----Hope this helps!!

First off I recommend getting a website. These days you can establish a web presence for relatively cheap. The internet is the future for local search. Next I recommend putting on your creative hat. You need to come up with original ideas on how to network within the community.
You could volunteer for local philanthropies such as Habitat for Humanity, offer to assist local churches and schools. Setup a flyer program and meet with local contractors. Attend Chamber events or other local events in hopes of meeting not only new people but maybe even builders.
Here is a good article for marketing on a budget:

When it comes to advertising it is best to think outside of the box. You can do it effectively and for reasonable prices but you have to be willing to put forth the effort and think.
