He used to drive a cool car (Knight Rider) and afterwards worked with hot girls (Baywatch) and threw in a mediocre song in for good measure - But those were the good old (80's) days, he must be getting old now

I totally agree he has become an novelty act. I just wonder why he's going down that route? He can't need the money as Baywatch (laugh if you will) made him an absolute fortune. I can't stand it when celebrities buy into a stupid nickname and try and make it their own when it was originally meant to be ironic and a bit patronizing. How desperate!

i can't figure out how the pipex ads are meant to work - why would him with that little guy in pvc laughing maniacally at the end into the phone ever sell broadband??? and the other one, where he says that after 15 years they have 1 million customers, that isn't very good is it?? but i'm sure he knows he's a novelty act, you can't be that man and take yourself too serious, i'd think.

In the UK we just don't understand how the rest of Europe love this guy. He's so edam! He's definately worse for wear these days. Probably the booze and that fact he's 54.

Yeah, he knows he's a novelty act. Whether this was his choice is debatable, but he carries it with good grace anyway. Good luck to him, I say.

I'm not buying into it at all. He's been forced down our throats in the tabs, the tv, everywhere but I simply turn over if he appears on tv.

He DOES look old & wants to be 25 again. He is one of those people who doesn't want to age gracefully & with dignity, since he never had any.
