It depends on weather you have a steering console or not. 50hp if you do 35hp tiller if you don't. Anything larger will bring you nothing but pain and misery ! Trust me, I know. That's a short sided, flat bottom,stubbed nose riveted river boat.

There should be a plate on the inside of the Transom tell H.P. rating and maximum weight. I would guess 25 H.P.
They can take more than the rating, it more of a guide. I have friends use a little larger than the rating. Main thing is the weight of the engine being too heavy.
