Absolutely, it was awful...needed 3 rounds of antibiotics to get rid of it and the particular bacteria was resistent to many of the antibiotics...what a pain...and painful too...........I read they are becoming way to common lately,,,scarey. and no guarantee that it won't return

my boyfriend had staph in his ear when he was little
and I have a friend that has an ulcer on his leg and 4 times they have tried to get rid of the staph and it just keeps coming back...I think he will lose his leg...

My son has it, and it can be tranferred to others, if they use your manicure or shaving items. His girlfriend got it that way.
Oh, and they can re-occur at any time throughout your life, once you are diagnosed with them.
Yes, they suck...they are sooo gross!
I wouldn't wish it on my enemies!
