I only know you go too far if you come too close - how far and how close that is, depends on the persons in question.

as far as i know being too far is far and being to close is close to be hones if you cordially like someone he/she can never be far if he/she is not there with you at the moment since you think of her/his then she/he can be close to you anyway and vise versa if you dont like someone he/she can be faraway if he/she is right with you at the moment since you dont like and you dont even think of her/his.
