Last night's Liverpool Galatasaray match. A classic. It reminded me of the game where Liverpool beat Olympiakos 3-1 two years ago which set them up to win the trophy.

Fingers crossed!

unfortunately for me, i saw the low end of it. inter v. bayern munich, the clash of the titans that went pfttt. enough drama for sure and a good show by olie kahn, but it was pretty much a rough and tumble game with 2 red cards, lotsa yellows, and bodies falling to the ground every 5 minutes or so. should've switched to the liverpool match. would've at least seen some great football for the hours i stayed up late. sniff.

Crouch's overhead kick. I could hear cries of "timber!" around the stadium. Actually, he was incredibly spritely for such a tall guy.
