triviatm is right about the B.R.A.T diet, but you need to eat them in that order. Bananas > rice > applesauce > toast.

Try taking a small amount of probiotics as well, but only a little bit otherwise you will continue to have problems. Try Bio-K, available at health food stores. It will help your immune system.

If you can figure out what is triggering your diarhea you can avoid it in the future.

Please go to the doctor! In the short term, Kaeopectate will slow it down. Get your husband or whomever you're with go buy a bottle of potassium gluconate pills immediately (500mg), and take two every six hours while you're havign the diarrhea to avoid heart failure or muscle cramps from electrolyte loss.

Waht you have is bacterial, and only a doctor can cure it.

Remember Terri Schiavo? The whole thing started becasue she drank loads of tea, and it leached her of potassium until she had a heart attack in the middle of the night.

Okay, have you seen a doctor about it yet? Because after 3 days, it should have cleared up.

That said, keep drinking, and I've personally found that peanuts tend to help, but others swear by bananas, rice, applesauce and toast - eat all of them and the combination supposedly helps clear it up.

You've got to go to the doctor... even if it's a simple intestinal illness, the diarrhea is robbing your baby of nutrition. Best of luck.

Call your doctor. Diarrhea can be a sign of Listeria, which, while it has little or no symptoms for the mom can be deadly for the baby.
