I sure wish I did! I'm just a 23 year old and I have had nothing but bad luck with friends..Especially with female friends..People these days are so inconsiderate and only care about themselves..I wish I had someone in my life who was down to earth, honest and caring as myself...Is there anyone else out there wish they had the same??

Sure!!!!! Each & every person will wish for a true friendship. But the truth is that very rarely do we get those precious diamonds. In the course of our journey thru this world we meet many, and since each one's destination is different we do have to part. But what i would like to tell u dear is to get along with everyone in ur course of life.Once we find a very good friend we expect many things from them and the relationship will be spoiled.I had many many good friends. But we had to part and the situation is such that we may not even find time to contact each other.Everyone is busy with their own lives.Wherever u go, u need new friends.U cannot simply stick on to 1 person for everything.Friendship is a gift that u give to yourself. But once u get urlife partner, everything may be changed.Again u may find different friends to share and understand the problems in ur married life...CHEER UP.LIFE IS LIKE THAT!!!!

I've experienced the same thing. However there have been a few good friends that I still have but yet its not the same as having one special or even a couple friends that you know for sure would always be true friends. I'm still hoping to find a friend like that one day. Someone to hang out with and that I won't have to worry about her flirting with my husband everytime I walk out of the room. That would be nice to start with. Plus all the other cool qualities count as well. I am married but yet I still haven't found my soul mate. I believe that soul mates dont always have to be lovers but can also appear in our lives as friends. I hope you find yours soon and hopefully mine will find me. ( I really don't get out much lol) :)

Girl I am in the same boat as you . I don't trust anyone especially females, I have had very bad luck with them thats why I keep male friends but its only so much you can tell them. I would LOVE to have a female friend who I can tell anything to and not worry about it getting back out or her trying to steal my man. But unfortunatley I can't find a " TRUE" friend :(

Used to be that way myself. Hooked up with some people on a forum for a local radio show host, and before I knew It, I was president of the fan club, arranging gigs for the guy, managing his website, and now have more friends then at any time in my life.

The secret is to find people that are like you in taste, opinion, and have a lot of commonality with you. From their its a piece of cake.

Good luck to you!!

Same with me. Even when I had one and it lasted for more than 8 years, it ended at the end. I lost my energy because I have invested a lot of emotions, effort, time and even money in that relationship and yet it failed. I definitely cannot do any better and cannot even repeat it again. So, what's the point? Embrace loneliness!!

I sure do ! My problem is I don't trust people anymore, it's really hard to these days. I think we all need & deserve a friend to talk to , encourage, laugh, love, go shopping!!. When my mom died I lost my best friend & its been hard. My sister & I are very close & I do appreciate her alot. I hope you can find someone .
Good Luck

God Bless
