you know how a childs brain can remain four years old forever and they are mentally retarded... is that possible for adults... when has the brain reached its full growth???

Yes, everyone has a certain brain capacity and IQ. At some point, individuals reach a certain age and don't really mature beyond that. Like alot of men I've met - in many areas never mature far beyond 13 I think. Some mid life adults you run into are more like 18 not able to take responsibility for themselves, living with mom and dad etc...running away from a beautiful wife and family for the hot young chick.They are not mentally retarded - just that's as far as their brain will go. Alot of people get stuck in a rut feeling like they can't mature and nothing will ever change - when they are just deceived. There are people out there who haven't reached their full potential simply because they haven't been motivated to.

Absolutely!!! I can't TELL you how many 17 year old- 40 year olds there are out there! And what's WORSE- are the 50 year olds who don't act a day over 10 !!! ... Of course, some of us DO mature to a reasonable age...-I'm sure many of us are "still in our 30s"- long after they've passed middle age. But for the rest of us who have "timestopped" on the way to adulthood, -please; I'd rather babysit someone their real age...
