Jealousy.
if i see someone who has something i want (like a candy bar, a talent, a fancy something-or-other) i turn my sense of "jealousy" into ambition to drive me to get what i want. making jealousy positive is as simple as taking the time to realize that you can have whatever that other person has, you just have to have the will to get it for yourself. you can have that fancy car, you just have to work for it. get an education, acquire some marketable skills, get a job and get the car. easy. stupid people turn jealousy into anger because they aren't willing to put the effort forth to work for what they want. they want it to be given to them, or they want to take it from someone else.

a very very good question, Yes. We can use our negative emotions for benefits. I was in a hostel during my B.E. it was the worst time for my life. Before that I was not so nervous and after that I have never been so nervous. I do not want to study there, I do not want to do the thing which I was doing. I.e. I can't explain my sorrow, nerviousness. I have lost so many things during that time. I have no words for those 4 years. Many many negative emotions were there in me, but when I leave the college and hostel. I was so happy. now I worked hared in my work, no situation can make me unhappy because whenever bad situation occurs, I think not bad like that. After that day I have never been so sad for the last 2 years. Once I was so negative but the blessing of that time is that " I am so relax today, in any situation I can work efficiently think it is a good situation" it has been happen to me. May be possible that have not explained it u exactly what I want to explain but u can understand it...
be sad, nervous, tense every day evening for only 15 minutes, and I am sure for the rest of the time no situation can make u nervous, because at the bad situation u will think : " oh, sadness! That is I am doing everyday, let it go ".
self created negative emotions will make u stronger then u are.

That depends on how a person views each emotion. A negative emotion might be a positive emotion to someone who is going to use it to their benefit. I think there is a time and place for all emotions however, everyone reacts differently to different situations that cause us to have emotion. That's where I get confused. Which one is negative, which one is positive?

I guess it would be fear, since all other negative emotions spring from fear. To use negative emotions positively, you need to decide what you are feeling and why you are feeling that way at that time. Then point yourself in another direction. Negative emotions are around to let us know we are moving in the wrong direction. We need to move or change. I really hope this helps you - wish it weren't so late at night or I could be a bit more succint and intelligible. Blessings and Peace! :-)

Are you a terrorist - asking a question like this? That's exactly what they think they are doing - using hatred and anger for the benefit of promoting their cause. There is no good cause that can be accomplished through negative emotions unless it is a righteous anger. How many people ever have much righteous anger - well - you could use your hatred of a principle, principality, power or idea but not hatred of people to accomplish good. But, then you have to have a standard for what is good. Without a standard for what a "good" cause is - your cause could actually be utterly wicked and evil. Such a complicated question.

This technique is widely used by the motivators around the world. In a boxing ring, I can think the opponent as my deadliest enemy in my personal life. This would give me more power to my body. Thus my negative idea about a person can be used to get benefit during the fight.
Hatred on militancy can be used to serve the refugees.

A person's negative emotion does not benefit anyone at all.
May be one can feign it to get a situation under control, due to lack of time to handle it with the normal emotions.

I would use anger against those who wrong, and to give me the drive to do right in their spite. Oh.. wait, then its no longer anger, its indignation isn't it? See, the language changes with the use and so too does the emotion.

Fear.
I'd get elected President, allow some horrible event to take place (like a new Pearl Harbor). And exploit it to promote my own agenda while blaming the previous President and the media for being biased against my war.
Okay... well I guess it's not really original ...
