Not all left handers are artistic, but there is a much larger proportion per capita of left-handers in the Arts.
As a lefthander, I am very creative, and almost every left-hander I know is the creative type. Not necessarily are they all a perfect illustrater or a flawless painter, but they tend to see the world in a different, more creative, chaotic way as I do.

I kind of disagree with that.
I'm a lefty all the way but I could poorly draw even the simplest house in my mind.
I think my right hand have been beating my left hand whenever I suck my left thumb while I was in my mother's womb so that may have made my left hand become so lousy to even make an art.

no, ands its not scientifically proven. if you take 2 groups of people (lefties & righties) & compare them for a certain thing (artistic tendency) they will never be exactly the same. for example, if you take 2 classes from a school and compare their heights, the average heights wont be the same, one might be 4", the other might be 4"2in. that doesnt mean all the kids in one class are bigger than all the kids in the other. the whole average can be thrown off by one or two individuals who are out of the ordinary. its all about manipulating statistics.

Absolutely. And it is scientically proven. Which makes me feel bad for all those kids that were slapped on the hand by their teachers with a ruler for using the "wrong" hand. Most of all the gifted people on earth are left-handed. Thank goodness nowadays they don't force that on kids, and allow them to use whatever hand they feel most comfortable with.

that's what i've always been told - don't know if it's true for all left handed people however my sister-in-law, father-in-law, uncle, & son are all lefties w/ a gift for things artistic
